Synthomir, an electronic DIY synthesizer originally developed and produced by Radiona.org / Zagreb Makerspace and distributed by Intergalaktik since 2025, will be presented at Zagreb Music Week 2026 as part of Zagreb Design Week.
The synth is continuing its journey from a makerspace-developed educational and experimental instrument toward wider availability for musicians, makers and electronic sound enthusiasts.
The presentation will take place on 16 September 2026 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, within the programme segment dedicated to education, experimental sound and DIY music technologies.
At Zagreb Music Week, Synthomir will be presented alongside a broader selection of DIY synthesizers, electroacoustic instruments, hacked devices and experimental sound objects developed through Radiona’s long-term work in creative electronics, sound experimentation and open knowledge.
The presentation offers visitors an opportunity to experience Synthomir both as a playable electronic instrument and as an example of how a project developed within a makerspace environment can evolve into a product with a broader life beyond its original workshop context.
Goran Mahovlić, Damir Prizmić and Deborah Hustic will be available for questions regarding the synth.
